GENS Nano

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 21 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Green Earth Nano Science Inc. (“GENS Nano,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through this website, gens.ca. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

1. Who we are and who is accountable

This website is operated by Green Earth Nano Science Inc., 55 Village Centre Place, Suite 200, Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 1V9, Canada. We are accountable for the personal information under our control. If you have any questions about this policy or our handling of your information, please reach us through our contact form.

2. What information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the details you provide: your name, company or organisation, country, email address, the product you are interested in, and your message. We use this information solely to respond to and manage your enquiry.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard log records (such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and date/time of access) for the operation, security, and integrity of the site. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.

What we do not collect. This is an informational website. We do not sell products online, do not have user accounts or a comment system, and do not collect payment information. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking tools.

3. Why we collect it (purposes)

We collect and use personal information only for the following purposes: to respond to your enquiry; to provide product information, technical data sheets, or safety data sheets you request; to discuss potential distribution or business relationships; to operate and secure our website; and to meet legal or regulatory obligations. We will not use your information for a new purpose without your consent, unless permitted or required by law.

4. Consent

By submitting the enquiry form, you consent to our collecting and using the information you provide for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us through our contact form. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to respond to your enquiry.

5. Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and we do not track visitors across other websites. Our website may set strictly necessary, functional cookies used for page caching and performance; these do not identify you personally. Fonts are served from our own server, so visiting our pages does not send your information to third-party font providers.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only with service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you — such as our web hosting and email delivery providers — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services. These providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, or to protect our legal rights.

7. Where your information is stored

Your information is stored on servers operated by our hosting and email providers and may be processed in Canada or in other countries where those providers operate. Where information is transferred or stored outside your province or country, it remains protected in accordance with this policy and applicable law, and may be subject to lawful access by courts or authorities in those jurisdictions.

8. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry correspondence only for as long as necessary to respond to your request and to maintain a reasonable record of our communications, after which it is securely deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

9. How we protect your information

We use appropriate safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. These include encryption of website traffic (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to maintain protection appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

10. Your rights

Subject to legal limitations, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask that it be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete, and to withdraw your consent to our use of it. To exercise these rights, contact us through our contact form. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may ask you to verify your identity before acting on your request.

11. Commercial electronic messages (CASL)

In keeping with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we send commercial electronic messages only where we have your consent or are otherwise permitted to do so — for example, in reply to your enquiry. Any commercial email we send will identify us and include a way to unsubscribe. Responding to your enquiry is not a commercial message and does not enrol you in any mailing list.

12. Quebec residents

If you are a resident of Quebec, additional rights may apply to you under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), including rights regarding the use of your information. You may contact us through our contact form to exercise those rights.

13. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Links to other websites

Our website may link to other sites, such as gens.capital. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of websites we do not operate. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes will take effect when posted.
